Hyvä kysymys, eipä ole mulla käytännön kokemusta aiheesta. Voihan se olla että pitäisi olla enemmän locking diff -tyylinen jotta vaikuttaisi selvästi käytökseen liukkaalla.

• improved direct steering response combined with minimal
steering effort – more agile handling
• outstanding acceleration capacity in corners
• stabilisation of vehicle under load change reactions
• greater handling stability without loss of responsiveness
(inverse function of ESP)
• reduction of understeer when accelerating especially under
high-grip conditions
• fast system response times
• zero maintenanceAlkuperäinen kirjoittaja SSP476 sivu 46Traction function
More recent vehicles with the sports differential have what is
referred to as a "traction function".
This involves more torque being transmitted to the wheel which
has the better traction. That means that if the left rear wheel is
losing traction, the drive torque to the right (gripping) wheel is
increased by operating the right torque overlay unit. The traction
function only comes into effect at road speeds upwards of approx.
15 kph and is not, therefore, an aid to pulling away. The function
improves handling dynamics on road surfaces with widely divergent
levels of grip because the power is shifted to where it can be
effectively transmitted. EDS brake modulation, in the course of
which power is lost, is not necessary that situation.
Hyvin se talvella vie autoa ilman turhaa EDL takajarrujen käyttöä. Liukkaalla tiellä missä keskivalli hyvin huomaa kun vuorotellen puree takarenkaan keskivallia ylittäessä.
